Environmental Education Program Based on Research with Bioindicators

Abstract

As part of an Environmental Education Program, workshops have been implemented forthe general public and for educational institutions with the objective of generating social changesin environmental issues. Starting with an intervention proposal in the town or local urban areaworking with lichens as air quality bioindicators, the construction of new knowledge that commitscitizens to the environment and to social change is promoted.
