Abstract

This paper deals witb sorne aspects about the ways to teach Biology in the different countries that participate in the Internacional Biology Olympiad The folfowings topics are analysed: number of years that the students learn Biology related with the total period of education; lenght of the classes and number of students par class. There is a wide variation in the date. Information about the organization and difusion of the national olympiads in each counlry is also given.
