Online training opportunities have grown exponentially worldwide and, therefore, also the need to assess their educational quality. From an organizational systemic approach, every virtual educational proposal presents interrelated and interdependent processes, sub-processes and activities. In particular, this research focuses on the production process, by means of the identification and characterization of the sub-processes, activities and key actors associated. It also proposes significant quality indicators to guide its management and monitoring. Unlike most approaches used to characterize this process, in this investigation, the modeling, the design and the development of virtual environments for teaching, learning and communication are considered from a systemic point of view. These environments will make possible the training proposals but not the methodologies extrapolated from other contexts with biased visions towards the purely sequential and instrumental implementation of digital environments.Downloads
