Main Article Content
Abstract
The program "Innovation and Human Capital" arises in 2010, within the framework of the Territorial Development Program in the Metropolitan Area of Cordoba -REMECO- is an initiative of the Agency for Economic Development of Cordoba -ADEC- whose first four calls were co-financed by the inter-institutional alliance formed by MIF-IDB, the Ministry of Industry of the Province of Cordoba through CFI, the Municipality of Cordoba and ADEC, responding to the detection of an area of vacancy in financing the development and implementation of innovations. Given the success of the program due to its impact on the transfer of innovations and the demand perceived by the academic, productive and social sectors, in 2015 the 5th Call for Innovation and Human Capital was launched, co-financed with resources from the National University of Cordoba, the Municipality of Cordoba and the ADEC and currently, funds are being managed to launch the 6th call in order to promote it as a long-term policy. The objective of the program is to foster the link between the educational sector and the productive and social sector of Córdoba, through the co-financing of theses, dissertations, final degree and postgraduate work and also curricular projects of technical schools at the middle level, which develop innovations that can be transferred and implemented in companies, the state and/or civil society institutions. The ultimate objective of this program is to install an innovative instrument, designed in Cordoba and with a high impact in facilitating the linkage of the educational system with the productive and social system and thus contribute to the strengthening of the innovation system of the territory.
