On the presence of Peatlands in the Ibera lagoon (Corrientes, Argentina). In this paper, we report the presence of peatlands in the Ibera lagoon (Corrientes, northeastern Argentina) under a subtropical climate. We describe a bog located in its northwestern extreme confirming that peatlands are not only limited to cold areas, but are also present in the subtropics, performing a very important role because of its ability to absorb water.
