Abstract

Este trabajo brinda información sobre las especies de moluscos exóticos e invasores que se han registrado para la provincia de Córdoba. Entre las especies acuáticas se encuentran las almejas asiáticas Corbicula fluminea y Corbicula largillierti, el mejillón dorado Limnoperna fortunei y el caracol Sinotaia quadrata, un caracol de América del Norte Pseudosuccinea columella y el pequeño caracol europeo Physa acuta, que actualmente es cosmopolita. Entre las terrestres, además del caracol de jardín Cornu aspersum, de origen europeo, se ha detectado recientemente la presencia del caracol degollado Rumina decollata proveniente del Mediterráneo. Debido a los impactos ecológicos, económicos y/o sanitarios que pueden ocasionar, la detección de especies exóticas e invasoras es necesaria para abordar acciones coordinadas entre los investigadores, entidades públicas y privadas y la comunidad.
