Caracterización geo-mecánica de un perfil de meteorización residual

Resumo

En este artículo se presenta un estudio sobre la variación de las propiedades físicas, mineralógicas, compresibilidad y dinámicas a lo largo de un perfil de meteorización de la ciudad Oberá- Misiones. Se analiza la influencia del intemperismo mediante ensayos de laboratorio en muestras obtenidas en suelos residuales característicos de la región. Las propiedades físicas analizadas fueron; caracterización del suelo, humedad, límites de Atterberg, granulometría, ensayo MCT (método expeditivo), superficie especifica, determinación de materia orgánica y se tomaron imágenes mediante microscopio electrónico de barrido y microscopio óptico para determinar la estructura. En cuanto a los ensayos mineralógicos se efectuaron mediciones por difracción de rayos X para determinar los minerales presentes en la matriz del suelo. Los ensayos dinámicos consistieron en  la medición del modulo Gmax en compresión confinada mediante la técnica de Bender Elements, en muestras inalteradas Con los resultados obtenidos fue posible cuantificar la influencia de la meteorización en el perfil analizado.
