Reflections on the localities of Potosí and Buenos Aires, Nicaragua: Theory and sources.

The purpose of this article is to analyze and interpret the different sources present in the General Archive of the Nation, the National Newspaper Library of Nicaragua and other documentary and virtual collections that allow building the local history of Potosí and Buenos Aires, and their relationship with the sugar agroindustry.
In the first instance, the analysis and synthesis method is identified, which allows to know deeply the realities that are studied and to organize it, according to the order of importance. Among other techniques, the method was used: Regionalization, oral history and the signing, which includes the extraction of key information for its assessment and use.
The Archive and National Newspaper Archive are institutions that are governed by the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua, where you can access the documentary collections and collections of the Historical Archive to carry out different types of research.
