Abstract

NOTE FROM THE EDITORS. The documentation offered to us by our distinguished collaborator Mr. Poyet, agrees, almost absolutely, with the account contained in the articles that Mr. Angel Justiníano Carranza published in the June to October 1899 issues of the Revista Nacional, on "The execution of Liniers and his companions". Scholars of Argentine history will appreciate the value of these documents, which together with Mr. Carranza's accounts should constitute the most complete and accurate information that can be obtained on the historical episode to which they refer.
