En escritos chinos (265-420) se señalan las primeras referencias sobre esta enfermedad. Se asociaba enton- ces, la picadura de insectos voladores con la aparición de fiebre elevada. Entre los siglos XV y XIX, comien- za la dispersión del dengue desde África hacia el resto del mundo, a raíz del desarrollo de la marina mercante y el aumento del comercio mundial.Downloads
