Violência verbal contra a equipe de enfermagem: um estudo de método misto realizado em Quito, Equador

Objetivo: Analisar o abuso verbal entre a equipe de enfermagem de três hospitais principais de Quito, utilizando uma abordagem mista para a validação do problema. Material e métodos: Estudo misto de desenho seqüencial, n = 387 enfermeiros participaram da fase quantitativa en = 47 participaram de 4 grupos focais. Resultados: Foi demonstrado que 146/387 (37,73%) participantes relataram abuso verbal nos últimos 12 meses; foi corroborado nos dados qualitativos com frases hostis e qualificações depreciativas.
