EL EXILIO DE JUYÁ: GEONARRATIVAS DEL AGUA FRENTE AL CAMBIO CLIMÁTICO EN LA GUAJIRA

El antropoceno anuncia la crisis ambiental contemporánea como el síntoma del horizonte agotado de la retórica de la modernidad frente a la relación dicotómica entre naturaleza/cultura. Sus consecuencias se evidencian especialmente en territorios indígenas, donde se impone la visión hegemónica de la naturaleza como objeto de conquista, afectando las formas de ser, saber y estar con/en el territorio, para justificar el epistemicidio y el ecocidio de los saberes, haceres y senti-pensares ambientales. El momento actual exige la búsqueda de otras epistemologías y geonarrativas sobre la relación naturaleza/cultura para construir territorialidades alternativas frente a un horizonte marcado por la desesperanza. Este trabajo enfrenta este desafío desde una perspectiva crítica basada en el conocimiento indígena Wayúu y su relación con el territorio hidrosocial en la Guajira venezolana. Utilizando como metodología las geonarrativas Wayuu frente al cambio climático a partir de las oralituras de sus ancianos, se reconstruye el calendario climático y las transformaciones que este ha experimentado. A partir de estas geonarrativas se traza un camino en la búsqueda de saberes que aporten al diseño de los pluriversos, que se articulen desde los bordes de la modernidad en la perspectiva indígena.
