IMPUTATION OF PAYMENTS. SYSTEMATIC INTERPRETATION OF ITS REGULATION IN THE ARGENTINIAN CIVIL AND COMMERCIAL CODE

The argentinian Civil and Commercial Code regulates the figure of imputation of payments between arts. 900 to 903. The present work establishes its definition and states its requirements, typologies and effects. Determined its current organic regulation, it describes certain differences with the regime of the Civil Code of Vélez Sarsfield and evidences inconsistencies within the system.
