About the Journal

Avances is an open-access academic publication, published annually, in printed and electronic format, by the Center for Production and Research in the Arts (CePIA), Faculty of Arts, National University of Córdoba (UNC). In its two decades of history, the journal has echoed problems related to historical, aesthetic, stylistic, educational and experiential issues, thus contributing to the formation of a network in the process of research in the arts. Open to national and foreign authors, originals and unpublished articles received are evaluated by the double-blind peer review system and published in Spanish or Portuguese, with the corresponding translation into English of abstracts and keywords.
