Entre los commodities, el agronegocio y una población que demanda avanzar hacia la agroecología: pensar las políticas públicas agroecológicas en Argentina a partir de la reflexión sobre experiencias en Francia

Abstract

In this work we propose to make a comparison between France and Argentina in relation to agroecology public policies, to detect French process potentialities plausible to be adapted to the Argentine process and to generate proposals to contribute to a comprehensive public policy development in Argentina. The following aspects were taken as analysis axes: agroecology different conceptions; public policies, organizations and institutions related to agroecology; consumers and food access. Regarding the process in our country, we believe that there are generated solid foundations and a social framework conducive to a transformation of the hegemonic productive model towards a more sustainable one, despite the unfavorable structural production conditions and the scarce and disjointed agroecology promotion public policies. It is necessary to advance in a comprehensive state policy that capitalizes on current experiences and takes care of the required demands. In this sense, we value the possibility of enriching local processes through exchanges between France and Argentina, which despite having gone through different historical processes, allows us to reflect on our practices and adapt some successful aspects of the French experience to our reality. As a result, we have been able to raise a series of considerations that we hope will contribute to think agroecological public policies in Argentina.
