Despite the democratic disillusionment of 1986-1989 and despite the defeat in 1995 of the proposed Ley de educación superior, organized students focused their efforts on making visible the demands of different situations regarding policies that affected the educational community at the national level. Particularly at the National University of Cordoba, young university students played a leading role. We propose two temporalities to present student demands regarding the national situation and the conflicts between different university forces, taking into account election periods.
