Abstract

As a result of a fieldtrip to Panama, 40 species of Physciaceae are reported, including 30 first records for the country. Rare Neotropical species encountered are Buellia rubroreagens, Cratiria americana, Gassicurtia rufofuscescens, Hyperphyscia isidiata and Stigmatochroma kryptoviolascens.
