Abstract

Burkitt lymphoma is a highly aggressive B-cell tumor characterized by translocation and deregulation of the myc-c gene on chromosome 8. There are three typical clinical forms: endemic, sporadic, and immunodeficiency-associated, with differences in clinical presentation, epidemiology, and genetic characteristics.
