Quality in higher education is a major concern in virtually every country in the world. Many factors explain it: the diversification of institutions, competition among them to win over students, changes in the way knowledge is produced, interest in safeguarding the level and relevance of learning, the requirements of globalization, the need to standardize conditions in the new regions created, and the meaning and suitability of studies are among the most outstanding.
