About the Journal
Pathos is the annual journal of Psychopathology, Faculty of Psychology, National University of Córdoba. It is an open access publication that aims to host and disseminate original and revised productions in the field of Lacanian psychoanalysis, in its articulation with Psychopathology, based on conceptual and ethical rigour; in order to promote a transfer of work with readers and the academic community.
It has been conceived as a means of reflection and exchange on pathos today, from a perspective that subscribes to the unconscious, far from any pedantism and discursive completeness. It is an offer to the production of knowledge, an incomplete, plural, non-ideological place, which makes it possible to make psychoanalysis exist in the University, from the word.
The journal arises within the framework of the Chair of Psychopathology I, which over the years has been committed to transmitting Freudian and Lacanian elaborations, in and through university spaces.
The publication has two sections, a dossier and a space for free papers. Each year an open call for papers is launched, which must comply with editorial standards and then be evaluated by experienced referees, through a double-blind process. It also receives papers in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
Pathos is indexed in the 2.0 Catalogue of Latindex, LatinRev, Latinoamericana, EuroPub and Malena catalogues, and is in the process of new indexing.
Pathos adheres to the Open Access policy and does not charge any fees to authors to publish, nor to readers to access published articles.
