Open Access Policy

Pescadora de Perlas supports the open access movement , which conceives knowledge as a public good. For this reason, the journal does not charge any fees to authors for their submissions or to readers for immediate access to the published material.

All contributions published in the Journal are under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license. This implies that any reader can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, communicate publicly or link to the full texts of articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, provided that: a) the authorship and original source of the publication in this journal is cited; b) the publication is not used for commercial purposes; c) In the event that a derivative work is generated from the publication, it is shared under the same conditions established by this Creative Commons license.

In the case of authors, they retain the right to reproduce their work in other media under other license agreements for the distribution of the published version of the work or of derivative work (eg, by depositing it in an institutional archive, or publishing it in a book) provided that the initial publication in Pescadora de Perlas is indicated.
