Abstract
The favorable evolution of an 8-year-old boy with respiratory infection by Mycoplasma pneumoniae is presented, whose symptomatic expression was characterized by distortions of the visual perception of the body schema (own and foreign) and of objects in the environment in short cycles and with full awareness of the reality of them. Alice in Wonderland Syndrome and its probable causes are analyzed as an uncommon situation in childhood in the PINE context.
