This brief writing is a reply to the kind comments presented by Beatriz Bragoni and Melina Yangilevich to the Spanish edition of my book Wandering Paisanos. I examine here questions of intellectual influences, connections to the historiography of the River Plate, historical methodology, and some specific questions relating to criminality, wandering, appearance, mercantile relations, subaltern politics and the power of laws.
