Abstract

The incorporation of ICTs in education allows the development of mixed training spaces and opens up new possibilities for the teaching-learning process. Identifying the different learning styles of our students would enable the development of resources that respond to their needs and preferences and consequently could promote significant learning. With the aim of improving the accreditation results in Physics II among engineering students at the National University of San Juan, it was decided to develop teaching material with the intention of having a high level of acceptance by students because it was adapted to their main learning styles. First, the predominant styles of the group were identified through the Felder and Silverman learning style index questionnaire. Then, a learning object referring to light interference was designed and developed based on the results of the test, which included various activities: reading information, interactive videos, exploration with simulations and solving questionnaires. The results obtained reflect that students show great acceptance and interest in this type of resources
