Rondas nocturnas... proposes, at the same time as it is part of, the folds of a cartography of Argentine cinema that enables overflows. On the frameworks of possibilities that configured the moments of cinematographic modernity, located at the beginning of the 1960s and in the two decades that framed the turn of the century -for its apparent aesthetic ruptures and language innovations propitiated by the technical renovation-, it investigates the emergence of sexuality and its variant visual representations, from a gaze that emphasizes the multiple tensions that also permeated the gesture of making them visible.
