Abstract

The results achieved in the development of the semantic web are preliminary until now. Some ideas used at specific levels have been developed, and spaces have been opened for innovation and reflection from diverse theoretical approaches. However, there are few concrete experiences that provide relevant information that allows us to know which are the central aspects of the configuration of this semantic web. The aim of this study was to reveal central aspects of the configuration of the semantic web, which is still in the development process, from the realization of an experience of construction of semantic structure of concepts. From this semantic web, six dimensions that provide relevant
information for the configuration, development and implementation of the semantic web and web ontologies were identified. Based on the results obtained, lines of action and reflection are proposed regarding the configuration of the semantic web for its application to the educational field.
