Abstract

Vicenta is a film released in 2020. It tells the story of the search and the bureaucratic, judicial and political struggle of a mother from the popular sector to obtain the legal termination of pregnancy for her 19 year old daughter, with cognitive disabilities. The film shows us how the famous case "LMR vs. the Argentine State" before the Inter-American Court of Rights, after passing through the Supreme Court of Argentina, is built in the daily life of a doctor's office.
