Filosofar con niñxs
Abstract
The project Filosofar con niñxs (Philosophizing with children), carried out by teachers, graduates and students of the School of Philosophy of the FFyH in different schools and libraries of our city, is part, since 2020, of the programs of the Extension Secretariat of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities of the UNC.
"We claim a philosophy that moves away a little bit from the marble and has to do with the encounter, with action and contact with others," say Sergio Andrade, Constanza San Pedro and Ayelén Branca, in this conversation with E+E magazine.
They also state that although their work has always been extensionist, they prefer to talk about dialogues and/or co-productions with the community they are part of. In the case of Filosofar con Niñxs, the production of knowledge is the result of exchanges with
those "others so other", who are the children.
In this line, they explain that, fundamentally, the idea is to put in tension the preconceptions of the adult world with respect to childhood and to generate strategies for children to speak out and express what they think and feel about some issues they are interested in bringing into play, such as politics, the body, sexuality, among other topics with which they frequently work.
they frequently work with.
They also tell us about one of their latest publications: Una invitación a inquietarnos. Jugando entre experiencias y reflexiones, also reviewed in this edition of E+E.
