Focus and Scope

Revista del Museo de Antropología: is a four-monthly (3 issues/year) scientific journal edited by the Museo de Antropología (Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba). The journal publishes original contributions and unpublished research results on topics of Anthropology (archaeology, social anthropology and bio-anthropology) and Museology related to the exhibit and curation of tangible and intangible materials related to the discipline. The journal accepts the following contributions: Original Articles. The original articles can be grouped into Dossiers proposed by the editors or by guest editors.

This is an Open Access Journal.

Peer Evaluation Process

All contributions will be subject to peer review suggested ad hoc by the Journal Editors and the Editorial Committee. The Editors reserve the right to reject contributions submitted if they do not meet minimum quality requirements, if they exceed the maximum length established for each category or if they are not unpublished research results. The decision of the Editors will be final and will not give the right to reply. Review is based on the evaluation of various formal criteria for submitting the manuscripts, as well as their academic content. As a result, the peer reviewers must define in which of the following global categories the manuscript fits: Very Good, Good, Regular, Bad. Based on this, the RMA will only consider for acceptance those manuscripts that get any of the combinations that arise from the Very Good and Good categories. In case there are differences in criteria between the evaluating peers, a new review round will be carried out adding new reviewers that will allow resolving the editorial and academic quality of the manuscript (Example: a manuscript that was classified as Very Good and Regular; or Good and Regular). In all cases, the decision of the Editorial Committee (Director and Section Editors) will be final. The review process guarantees the anonymity of the reviewers and authors (if requested). In the latter case, (authors) must be requested before sending the manuscript through the OJS management system. Evaluation form used in the peer review process
