Rosângela rennó: the forgotten file
Main Article Content
Abstract
This work examines the early work of the Brazilian artist Rosângela Rennó and analyzes her work with photographs from various state and private archives. Within the framework of what is here called an archival device, which organizes our present, it is proposed that Rennó's work problematizes and deconstructs such a device, making evident the policies of forgetting about the popular classes and the marginal classes.
