    Possui graduação em Direito pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2015), MBA em Gestão e Liderança Universitária na UNISUL (2007); graduação em Teologia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1996); graduação em Filosofia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1997); mestrado em Filosofia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1998); mestrado em Teologia pela Pontificia Università Gregoriana (2000); doutorado em Teologia pela Pontificia Università Gregoriana (2002) e doutorado em Filosofia pela Pontificia Università Santo Tomás de Aquino (2004). Professor titular do programa de pós-graduação em teologia da Escola de Humanidades da PUCRS. Possui formação em psicanálise e é membro do Instituto Brasileiro de Psicanálise Clínica de Campinas. Tem experiência na área de Gestão Educacional, Conselhos de Administração, Teologia e Filosofia, com ênfase em Hermenêutica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: religião, universidade, psicanálise, educação, espiritualidade e modernidade.
