Inspiring debates that cross feminist generations. A review of "Marxism and the oppression of women: Towards a Unitary Theory" by Lise Vogel

Forty years after its first publication, in 2024 “Marxism and the Oppression of Women: Towards a Unitary Theory” comes to light in Spanish, the book that condenses the most relevant contributions made by the North American feminist sociologist Lise Vogel to the socialist feminist theory, and which lays the foundations of the Theory of Social Reproduction (SRT). In the review we propose a tour of the main themes that the author develops in each chapter, considering her fundamental contributions and the relevance of the debates that she helps to open with her original theoretical proposal.
