Abstract

This paper describes some characteristics of scientific and educational meetings periodically organized by the Argentina Biology Teachers Association (A.D.Bi.A.), in particular the role that these meeting have played in the growth of the association. We emphasize the contributions made to teaching training and professional development as well as those contributions related to the promotion and diffusion of educational research and innovation in an expanding community of teachers and researchers.
