Abstract

This paper analyzes the issue of pedagogical innovation within the framework of a program developed by the Association of Biology Teachers of Argentina (ADBiA): "Research and Innovation in Biological Sciences Teaching", and presents some definitions of innovation, comparing them with the concepts of change and reform, which are generally introduced in association.  The role of ADBiA in the promotion and dissemination of educational innovations at the local, regional and national levels should be emphasized.
